Phishing

Phishing is the attempt to fake the content and layout of some other website to make visitors believe that they really are visiting the copied website. In most cases important websites like online banks or online auctions are faked to make a fooled visitor enter his secret password to login. If he does so the phishers would gain the password and could now themselves use it at the original website.
